Baker of wacky cakes proud of her dyslexia as it encouraged her to explore creative side

An office worker who quit after being diagnosed with dyslexia in her forties is enjoying the sweet taste of success thanks to her business making movie-themed wedding cakes. After struggling with her role in HR working for the Royal Mail, Nikkie, from Sheffield, was advised to test herself for the learning difficulty, which found she suffered severely from the condition. Deciding to pursue her love of baking instead, she now creates complex and creative cakes, and her business is flourishing.
