Baked Oats Are Taking Over TikTok And They're Blowing Everyone's Minds

From Delish

TikTok obsessed, like us? Then you'll probably already have seen the social channel's latest foodie trend, baked oats. Yep! Who knew something as simple as baked oats would be so popular?

The hashtag #BakedOats has recently racked up 307 million views and counting on TikTok, and people are simply going mad for it (us included).

With all types of delicious variations doing the rounds (Biscoff, Kinder Bueno, Terry's Chocolate Orange), we can't help but want to devour a portion for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

But we have to admit, we do have a favourite...

This white chocolate and raspberry version looks dangerously delicious. Here's what you need to make it...

Baked oats ingredients

  • 75g plain oats

  • 3/4 tbsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)

  • 1 egg

  • 50 ml milk (any kind)

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • White chocolate chips

  • Frozen raspberries

How to make baked oats

To begin, preheat your own to 190ºC (170ºC fan). Then, bung the oats into a blender and blitz until they form a powder (it's up to you how smooth you want the oats). Once blended, mix in the baking powder, sugar, salt, egg, vanilla essence and milk. Pour the mixture into a baking dish, and top with white chocolate chips and frozen raspberries (and any other toppings you're craving). And finally pop it into the oven for 15-20 minutes. Once baked, allow to cool a little and ENJOY!
