Bake Off's Paul Hollywood on 'texting terms' with Hollywood A-lister who he has 'time for'
Paul Hollywood has revealed that he's on texting terms with a Hollywood megastar who sometimes drops him a message to tell him what she's "been up to".
The Great British Bake Off star claims that the beloved Channel 4 show has a slew of celebrity fans, including Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Michael J Fox and Lynda Carter.
He even appeared in a video posted by Kylie Jenner, where she told her 390 million followers that Bake Off's her "favourite show".

However, despite the baker admitting that he doesn't have many celebrity friends, he does "occasionally" receive texts from one A-lister in particular – Blake Lively.
Paul told The Times: "I've got a lot of time for Blake. She texts occasionally, sort of to catch up on what she's been up to, what Ryan's up to. It's lovely, because regardless of their job, they're just a normal family, mum and dad to some great kids.
"They're really nice people. I like that communication. I don't have many friends who are celebrities, it's not me. I don't go to a lot of red-carpet stuff. I don't go to the parties up in London. I don't like London."
Paul, who is the last remaining member of the show's initial presenters from 2010, previously opened up about his battle with a "severe" case of carpal tunnel syndrome.
It arose as a result of his labours in his family bakery from the age of 17 after he left Wallasey Art School, with the kneading of the dough resulting in nerve damage in his wrists.
It means the presenter facing the possibility of completely losing sensation in his hands unless he sought medical help.
However, he admitted that the notion of surgery scared him and he ended up limiting his baking to tackle the issue. He described his experience on the Graham Norton show.
Paul said: "I've got carpal tunnel syndrome in both my wrists, it's severe. It was diagnosed about four years ago, I went to speak to a consultant about it and he said 'Listen, you're going to have to have an operation'."
