AZ Factory, the fashion label which was only recently launched by Alber Elbaz shortly before his unexpected passing, will commemorate the designer's life and work with a memorial during Paris Fashion Week. The brand has also announced plans to showcase his final collection, which was finalised before his death, on what would have been his 60th birthday.

The fashion house revealed that two product stories had been fully finalised by Elbaz, and will be released this month. SuperTech-SuperChic will be available from 12 June to mark the founder’s 60th birthday, and Free To will launch shortly thereafter. A portion of the proceeds from the Free To drop will be donated to the It Gets Better Project, whose mission is to uplift, empower, and connect LGBTQ+ youth around the globe, which was the wish of Elbaz.

AZ Factory has also shared plans to honour the legendary designer during Paris Fashion Week later this year. The brand will host an event which celebrates his extraordinary life, paying tribute to his creative vision and joyous spirit.

"The world has lost a legend and the AZ Factory team has lost a beloved friend with the sudden passing of Alber," Laurent Malecaze, AZ Factory chief executive officer said. "We are humbled and moved to launch the last two product stories he had finalised with the team. In the next months, we will come together to honour Alber with a celebration of his life and his visionary work, aiming to bring the same level of passion and love that he brought to us each day."

AZ Factory's new collections will be available to shop later this month on the brand's website, on Net-a-Porter and on Farfetch.
