From increasing the biodiversity of your garden to using the right tools as well as growing your own vegetables and herbs, there are plenty of way to make your garden habits more environmentally friendly.

To help you get started, join our Good Gardening talk, which is part of GH LIVE, a three-day festival of events in London, and have all your horticultural questions answered by our expert panel.

Panellists include top garden designer and RHS Chelsea gold-medal winner Juliet Sargeant, award-winning landscape architect and regular BBC Radio 4 Gardeners' Question Time panellist Bunny Guinness, RHS Director of Science and Collections Professor Alistair Griffiths, as well as author and gardening journalist Pattie Barron.

Guests will leave armed with green gardening tips they can apply to their outdoor space, whether they have a rambling garden or a compact balcony.

These will include how to make your garden more sustainable and attract more wildlife to it as well as how to start growing your own blooms and herbs.

Participants will also learn about the importance of gardens for our mental and physical wellbeing.

Taking place on Friday 24 June, tickets cost £60 and include two drinks tokens, access to the GH Live House with its coffee and Champagne bar as well as a special 100th anniversary goody bag to take home.

Good Housekeeping Live is a three-day festival of events (23-25 June 2022) to celebrate our 100th anniversary.

We're delighted to offer you the opportunity to join the Good Housekeeping team for a packed programme featuring some of our favourite stars, experts and authors, and encompassing live talks, masterclasses, cookery demonstrations and afternoon teas.
