Oral B's Award Winning Electric Toothbrush is 75% Off for Black Friday

·2-min read

Amazon's Black Friday deals for 2020 have landed and we've been crossing our fingers for some big discounts that'll ensure good value for money – such as those on a top quality electric toothbrush.

We know the most high-tech toothbrush models can be pricey, so we were thrilled to spot that this award-winning electric toothbrush – which earned a score of 92/100 in Good Housekeeping Institute testing – is hugely reduced by £222 on Amazon. That means you can get a toothbrush worth £300 for just £78 in the sale. Now that's the kind of Black Friday deal we were hoping for.

Keeping on top of your oral health is important for so many reasons: after all nobody wants bad breath or gum disease, so a good daily routine is a must.

While manual and electric options do both work to keep your teeth clean, dentists recommend using an electric model as they massage your teeth and gums correctly and often have a warning light that flashes when you’re pressing too hard – which can cause gum recession.

Coming in a choice of six colours, testers loved the Oral B Genius 9000. It has a timer that vibrates when it’s time to move onto another part of your mouth while you’re brushing in order to ensure you’re doing it correctly.

On test, it provided excellent cleaning results with noticeable plaque reduction. There’s a free app that connects to the brush via Bluetooth with some good features, such as reminding you to change your brush head, so you don’t forget.

It comes with a travel case from which you can also charge the toothbrush, along with a multi-voltage plug for when abroad, so you don’t have to switch to a manual on holiday.

Some of our panel did feel that the case is a little bulky and the toothbrush was quite noisy during use – but for such a big discount, we think that’s a small price to pay. Grab one here on Amazon, but seriously, be quick as we have a feeling that these will sell out.
