Since luxury skincare and haircare brand Augustinus Bader was founded by Charles Rosier and doctor Augustinus Bader in 2018, it’s quickly become a leading light in the high-end skincare market.
Recognised for its products formulated with TFC8 technology, and backed by three decades of research in skin healing and tissue repair, the brand has won more than 100 global awards since launch and closed a $25 million strategic funding round in November valuing the business at $1 billion.
In October, Augustinus Bader opened its first-ever pop-up shop in LA and this week, it has opened the doors to its inaugural bricks and mortar space on UK soil, at the Lanserhof Clinic, on London’s Dover Street.
Combining the labs and the research of Bader with the clinical expertise of the Lanserhof, The Skin Lab will offer a high-performance, highly curated menu of treatments for the face and body using Bader’s method to boost cellular communication, promote rejuvenation, and to firm, tone, and refine the skin.
“For more than 30 years, Lanserhof has combined cutting-edge technology with a bespoke approach to medicine,” said Nils Behrens, Lanserhof CMO. “It is a perfect match with Augustinus Bader’s philosophy of revolutionary science and biological wisdom. Through our inaugural The Skin Lab by Augustinus Bader x Lansherof partnership, we will create something new that will help people not only live well for longer but also look better for longer.”
The spa, awash with the brand’s iconic blue bottles, will offer bespoke face and body treatments using the brand’s much-loved product, plus a range of state-of-the-art kit, from radio frequency and micro-abrasion, to LED and the Visia Skin Analysis machine. All treatments can, of course, be complemented with therapies from the adjoining Lanserhof clinic.
“Augustinus Bader was founded on principles of scientific research and groundbreaking technology that utilises the body’s natural healing processes. To partner with the Lanserhof, who share our vision of innovative healing, feels like a natural extension of the brand,” said Bader.
