Aubrey Plaza's stylist insists SAG Awards dress was meant to have 'underboob'

Aubrey Plaza's stylist has insisted her dress for the 2023 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards was meant to showcase "underboob".

On Sunday, The White Lotus actress stepped out in a bronze Michael Kors number with a crossover neckline and skin-baring cutout.

Yet, the look quickly stirred debate online, with some fans loving the unique style and others questioning whether it fit the star properly.

"The straps could be better adjusted, but i love the color, and hair and makeup look amazing," one fan wrote alongside a snap of Aubrey on the red carpet.

However, stylist Jessica Paster was quick to respond to the criticism.

"Did 7 fittings .. for real ... I wanted underboob," she insisted.

And it seems that Aubrey was very happy with the ensemble too.

"Best dress ever! Best date ever! Best team ever! Thank you @michaelkors for this beautiful custom dress making me feel like a 70s movie star," the 38-year-old added.
