This year's Grammy Awards were a celebration of celebrity fashion, and Harry Styles' feather boa looks were one of the event's highlights. To refresh your memory, he wore not one but three different Gucci outfits over the course of the evening (including a shirtless leather suit situation), each paired with its own gloriously extra feathery scarf.

While few of us wear feather boas outside the fancy dress context, making Harry's accessory all the more notable, we certainly remember a time when we used to see them more regularly: the height of our High School Musical fandom, when Ashley Tisdale (AKA Sharpay Evans) regularly walked the red carpet dressed in peak 2000s outfits. Ah, what a time. And one of Ashley's fave accessories was, of course, the feather boa.

Here's a very Sharpay-inspired outfit Ashley wore back in 2004 to the premiere of Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement:

Of course, with the internet being sh*t hot on all things nostalgic, it wasn't long before memes started circulating comparing the outfits:

"Ashley Tisdale impact in Fashion Industry will never die! "

Ok, we've got to admit, we see how they got there.

Now, our favourite part of this whole tale is the fact that Ashley's actually seen the memes and responded in the best way. Clearly finding the comparison as amusing as the rest of us, Ashley retweeted one of the memes on her own account with the caption "Haha":

Ashley also reportedly shared the meme to Instagram Stories, adding an “Iconic” gif and, on another, the animated 💯.

Ah, we're so here for these icons paying homage to each other - intentionally or otherwise.
