Ashley Graham walked into a party and walked out with a new tattoo (and yes, it's real)

It seemed like your typical night out for Ashley Graham on Wednesday. She got her glam on and hit the red carpet for the Revlon Live Boldly launch event in New York City. What wasn’t typical is that at the party, she got a new tattoo. Yes, a real one.

The model, 30, detailed the tale of her ink with an Instagram Story. In between posing for pics with fellow Revlon-er Gal Gadot, she decided to “live boldly,” the theme of the night, by hitting up famed tattoo artist Jon Boy for some new ink — of husband Justin Ervin’s initials. Jon Boy of Bang Bang in New York was hired to ink people at the party (“bold ink”) — which is kind of a dangerous option at an event were alcohol is also served, no?

Graham wasn’t nervous though. “You guys, I’m gonna get a tattoo,” she said, pulling back her hair to reveal the spot — behind her ear. “I’m next in line. I’m gonna get a little ‘J’ for Justin.”

There were pics of her in the chair — and she made it look so glamorous.

“All right guys, it’s going down,” she reported soon after. “Jon Boy is about to tat me up.”

Photographers were trained on her throughout the process, which led her to joke: “I can’t even get a tattoo in peace.”

Here is the finished product, shared by Jon Boy. Not only did she get the “J,” but also she added the “E” for good measure. It’s small — so not that bold, we guess — so you may have to squint to see it.

Graham’s husband didn’t walk the red carpet with her at the event, but they were spotted together outside. We’re sure he appreciated the gesture.

This isn’t the curvy beauty’s only ink. On vacation in the Bahamas with gal pals in October, she pulled down her bathing suit to reveal what appeared to be the symbol for her birth sign, which is Scorpio. (Her birthday is Oct. 30.) Cool and all, but did she get it at a party in front of 500 people? And broadcast the entire experience on social media? We think not.
