Ashley Graham is documenting how she's returning to the fashion world nine months after welcoming her son Isaac.

Last Wednesday, the supermodel made an appearance at the Fendi SS21 show during Milan Fashion Week which marked her first time on the catwalk since welcoming a son with her husband Justin Ervin in January.

Days later, the star returned to New York City, after spending several months in quarantine at her family’s Nebraska farm and ending nine months of maternity leave.

On Saturday, Graham shared a video of her breastfeeding Isaac on her Instagram Story and captioned the clip: ‘Reunited after four days!!’

‘I pumped almost every 3 to 4 hours to keep my supply up while I was in Italy,’ she noted. ‘I had so much breast milk in the freezer so I didn’t have to worry if Isaac was going to have enough food while I was gone.’

A day later, she was photographed walking the runway at the Etro Ready to Wear SS21 show in a navy blue dress with a large black buckle.

Over the weekend the model posted backstage footage on her Instagram Story of her time in Milan and how she's preparing for her numerous fashion month appearances.

In one clip, she is seen getting her make-up done while pumping before walking the catwalk.

‘That’s how is done,’ fellow mode Gisele Bündchen commented on the clip.

‘Woke up in a @fendi dream,’ she captioned several photos on Instagram from the Fendi show, during which she wore a sheer floral wrap dress over a black slip.

‘Thank you for having me and congratulations on such a gorgeous collection! It has been a difficult year for everyone and I’m so impressed by the fashion industry’s resilience and quick adapting. Thank you to everyone who helped me (safely) get back to the runway. I missed it so much!’

During an interview with Kristen Bell for ELLE US, the model shared that the ‘silver lining’ in the Coronavirus pandemic is ‘that I gave birth just before quarantine, so I’ve been able to watch Isaac grow up before my eyes’.

‘Experiencing every single moment with him has been a dream come true,’ she continued, adding, ‘I feel really bad for the next kid, because I don't know if they're going to get this much attention.’
