Ashley Cain's heartbreaking post as he says 'things can be good again' after becoming a dad 3yrs on from daughter Azaylia's death
Ashley Cain took to his Instagram to share his pain after he recently became a dad again, three years on from the passing of Azaylia, his daughter with ex Safiyya Vorajee. The tot heartbreakingly passed away aged just eight months in April 2021 after being diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia. Since then, Ashley, 34, has become a dad twice to Atlas and Aliyas. He recently announced the arrival of little Atlas with a series of adorable photos. Atlas is a younger brother to Aliyas, who was born in January.
He posted on his story a lengthy caption about things “can be good again” despite the turbulent few years he has had since the passing of Azaylia. He wrote: “Just know this, when s**t gets really bad, it can get good again. It can get really f**king good. It might not be great. It might not be perfect. There might be things missing that can’t be replaced. There might still be pain, fragments of trauma, and moments where all you want to do is cry.
"But trust me, it can get really f**king good again. All the things that have hurt us - they shape us. They make us bigger, better, stronger, braver and more humble, resilient and aware of our surroundings than we ever were before.”

The new dad concluded: “And remember this: if you miss them, you can still love them - even if it really f**king hurts. That’s more than okay. As they may have left your arms, but they’ll never leave your mind, your heart or your spirit. Love, Ashley,” ending with a red heart emoji.
This comes after Safiyya shared her emotional plans ahead of Christmas and said she will pay tribute to her late daughter. Safiyya said she will pay a visit to Azayliaa's memorial garden, which she and Ashley created in her memory.
When asked how she will spend Christmas, the 37 year old told The Sun : "I’ll be with my mum, my stepdad and my brother and my nephew, but I always go on my own to Azaylia’s garden. I’ll spend a bit of time there on Christmas Day."
The last time Safiyya spoke about Azaylia's memorial garden was at Easter time. In a heartbreaking Instagram post, she admitted that her 'heart is shattered' and wished her daughter a Happy Easter as she shared a variety of pictures from the garden as she was joined by her brother, nephew and other family to celebrate the holiday with Azaylia.
Safiyya also recently spoke out after ex-professional footballer Ashley - who she split from 11 months after Azaylia's death - announced the arrival of his second child with his new girlfriend.
Ashley, 34, who is also a dad to son Aliyas Diamond, who was born in January, confirmed the birth of son Atlas Diamond Cain in late November, saying he was "bursting with pride and excitement".
While Safiyya said: "For me, I know he is an amazing dad, and he always will be an amazing dad. He’s just really blessed, and I hope he enjoys every moment of it."
