Following in the hugely successful footsteps of the Philip Schofield (and the white-helmeted The Body)-fronted show, The Void will air later this year.
The action centres on an actual void - 520,000 litres of water in the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, which contestants must avoid falling in to. Fun fact: It's one of the biggest ever bespoke water tanks ever constructed for a game show.
They'll face a series of mental and physical challenges, as they take on action packed games against the clock or each other. The winner of each episode will get to take on The Void for one last time and a chance to win a jackpot of £25,000.
Here's everything we know about the show so far...
The Void: Who are the presenters?
Diversity's Ashley is teaming up with presenter, I'm A Celeb contestant and former X Factor star Fleur. It's the first time the two have presented a game show, and they're excited to see what The Void creates.
"I literally cannot wait to get started on this one!," says Ashley. "The concept is so simple... can you cross ‘The Void’ and reach the prize on the other side? But if the brains behind The Cube have anything to do with it (which they do of course) it will be anything but simple!
"It’s also the first game show I’ve been lucky enough to host and all alongside the amazing Fleur East, which is another thing I’m buzzing about. So all in all, there’s no doubt in my mind this is going to be immense!"
Fleur adds, 'I am really excited about hosting this show, the concept is epic! Created by the same genius behind The Cube which is a show I love. Also getting to work alongside Ashley is amazing, he’s so talented and it’s going to be a lot of fun."
The Void: What is it about?
"The Void is a physical game show with a difference," says Katie Rawcliffe, Head of ITV Entertainment Commissioning. "The scale of the show will be vast and with Ashley and Fleur at the helm, The Void promises to be a great addition to ITV’s Saturday night family viewing.”
Adam Adler of Gameface, the production company behind the show, adds: "We've got two incredible hosts, a bunch of exciting games, 120 amazing contestants and 520 tonnes of water. I can't wait for people to see what happens when we put them all together!"
