It's not even August and you bet we've already started talking about Christmas. It's the only thing that's pulling us through the remainder of this year tbh. And with the months flying by, it's fair to say Christmas will come around much faster than ever before.

And so, what better way to spark the excitement for festive celebrations than with some delicious new Christmas food? Asda is the next major supermarket retailer to reveal its 2020 Christmas range and we're more than happy to be able to give you guys a sneak peek.

So, without further ado, here's some of Asda's stand-out, iconic 2020 Christmas products.

Party Food & Buffet

Asda has outdone itself this year when it comes to party food with the launch of Salmon Mac & Cheese Bites, Pork, Chicken & Stuffing Layered Pork Pie and a (vegan) Bao Bun Selection.

But we're particularly excited to try the Pigs on Fire. The new pigs in blanket-inspired party food is cuts of British prime pork blended with Carolina Reaper hot chilli that's perched in a jalape帽o and wrapped in streaky bacon. And yes, they're as hot as they sound.

Mains & Sides

Asda is providing a great selection of mains this year with the likes of an Easy Carve Boneless Turkey Centrepiece, Vegan Turkey Joint and Slow Cooked Beef Shin.

The supermarket is also bringing back its best-selling 12-piece Pig in Blanket Centrepiece, along with a new Giant Pig in Blanket Sausage Roll.

Other mains include a Cauliflower Cheese, Sweet Potato & Cranberry Wellington, which is described as "creamy, rich and hard to resist." As well as a Christmas Dinner Parcel which comes filled with turkey breast, wrapped around a classic pork, sage and onion stuffing, with chopped sprouts, lashings of smoked bacon and finished with a port glaze. Now, those leftovers would make one delicious Christmas sandwich.

The retailer has thought of it all this year and are offering everything from a British Farmhouse Stack to Cheese Roulette (yes, really). The cheese roulette mixes both food and fun with individually wrapped pieces of tangy cheese.

Dessert is just as important as the main meal, and Asda has certainly delivered some quality sweet treats this year. Expect Gingerbread Cheesecake, a Chocolate Orange Opera cake and some delicious Chocolate & Cherry Houses. Not to mention, a Bruce the Brussel Sprout Cake and Reindeer Ice Cream Lollies.

As always, Asda has some great confectionary products including some brand-new Spiced Clementine Fudge, Sour Cherry Nougat and Spiced Orange & Triple Sec Chocolate Cookies. Plus, a new flavour profile of Salted Caramel Mince Pies.

When it comes to gin, Asda knows what to do. The brand is offering last years successful Mince Pie Gin Liqueur and Gingerbread Gin Liqueur, along with a new Cranberry & Clementine Gin, which sounds utterly delicious.
