Ariana Grande has just called out a TikTok troll

Ariana Grande has just hit back at a TikTok troll who suggested she should stick to singing. The 29-year-old has been taking a little break from music recently to focus on her other business ventures, most notably, her brand r.e.m beauty. ICYMI, the makeup line has just released its Sweetener Concealer, and Ariana took to her TikTok yesterday to share a promotional video of the new product.

Amongst the many positive comments, including confirmation from fans about how much they love the new concealer, one user took to the social media platform for a different reason. "Pls remember you're a singer," they commented. And as reported by E! News, Ari apparently hit back with a straight-up response, writing: "I have actually never felt more at home in my voice, or like more of a singer."

This clapback comes just two months after Ariana revealed that she's not planning on releasing a follow-up album to 2020's 'Positions', anytime soon. She spoke about this decision in a makeup tutorial that was posted on r.e.m beauty's YouTube channel back in May, admitting: "The truth is, I have not begun an album."

She went on to explain that the "only reason" she's not prioritising new music right now is because she doesn't feel "ready" to jump straight into a *seventh* studio album. (That's a lot of albums, btw.) Ari also revealed that her "hands are quite full with a lot of other thrillifying work," as she alluded to her recent casting of Glinda the Good Witch in the upcoming film adaption of Wicked.

Sharing that the project is "going to have every piece of me," Ariana also noted that even though she knows "the material like the back of my hand", she still has "so much to learn."

You got this, Ari.
