It's not the kind of home decor you would expect her to go for, but Ariana Grande now has a life-sized cardboard cut-out of Borat taking pride of place in her home. And if that wasn't odd enough, she filmed herself stealing it from a drive-in cinema and posted the video on her Instagram Stories.

Last night Ariana attended a drive-in cinema for a special screening of Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat sequel, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. She posted a picture to her Stories showing herself with a group of friends crowded around a cardboard cut-out of lead character Borat at the screening, along with the caption, "u are ........... the most brave and brilliant. thank u for the double tested / covid safe / drive in screening!

"so beyond excited for the world to see this film ..... on the edge of my seat. i feel honoured to have seen it early !!!!!!!! love u and this group."

The next part of her story is a video showing Ariana surreptitiously approaching the cut-out once everyone else has left. After looking around to make sure nobody is watching (aside from the camera, ofc), Ariana lifts the cut-out (which shows Sacha Baron Cohen as Borat wearing a face mask as a mankini), and sneaks off with it.

The next story in the series shows the revealing cardboard cut-out in pride of place in Grande's luxurious home. It's quite the shocking juxtaposition.

Recently Ariana came up in some surprise celebrity beef, when Chaka Khan gave a not-so positive response to the idea of working with her again. In the interview, the 67-year-old queen of disco was asked about whether she'd be keen to collaborate with Ariana, 27, again, and responded "F*** her," before softening, "She's alright."

The pair worked together in 2019 on a remix of Chaka's song 'Ain't Nobody', titled 'Nobody', for the Charlie's Angels soundtrack. And judging by Chaka's latest chat with VLADtv, things between the pair weren't left in a particularly good way.

Borat 2 will be released on Amazon Prime on 23 October.
