Ariana Grande posted a selfie from the set of her '34+35' music video.
Ariana debuted a fresh set of bangs, and they seem straight out of the '70s.
A brand new album means a brand new era for Ariana Grande, but little did fans know they'd see Ari testing out entirely different hairstyles! Our fave pop star already threw us for a loop when she traded her usually long, sky-high ponytail for something big and bold: a '60s-inspired honey blonde beehive that was soooo good, it even gave Dolly 'the higher the hair, the closer to god' Parton a run for her money. And now, Ari's making her way through the decades with a '70s-inspired curtain bang.
On Instagram, Ari snapped a selfie, likely after finishing her glam for the '34+35' video shoot and—surprise!!!—revealed perfectly draped curtain bangs. A real treat, considering the last time we saw Ari with actual bangs was allll the way back in 2017.
If you're wondering who created this magical new 'do for Ari, look no further than Josh Liu—aka the hairstylist who's responsible for Ari's recent beehive and the artist who created her gorgeous ponytail looks in the 'Positions' music video. In his Instagram Story, Josh made sure to credit John Lunsford with assisting him and noted that Michael Anthony did Ari's makeup for the shoot.
Who knows what look Ari will try next, but as it stands right now, I am ready to grab scissors and go to town creating a fringe for myself. To my hairstylist: If you're reading this, I am truly sorry.
