How old are your ears, really? As you age, you slowly lose the ability to hear sounds at higher frequencies. This is partly due to the natural aging process (your ear cells begin to die off around age 18), and partly due to how well you’ve treated your ears over the years. This Buzzfeed video plays five sounds, beginning with one that should be heard by all ages and ending with one that’s only for the very young — or those with excellent ears.
