The Great British Bake Off 2023 judges

Presenter Noel Fielding is back for this year's series of Bake Off, along with brand-new host Alison Hammond! The seasoned presenter announced the news that she would be joining the show on Instagram in March this year, saying: "let's have it!"

It's also been confirmed that Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith will be returning. Y-A-Y!

The Great British Bake Off 2023 contestants

The contestants haven't been announced yet, but we'll be the first to let you know as soon as their details are released! We can't bloody wait. Last year, the contestant's names and stories were released on 2nd September, so we reckon the start of September 2023 is a good bet for this year's contestant info to be revealed.

We do know that this year, the show will welcome its very first deaf contestant. Filming has already begun for the show, and, according to reporting by The Express, Paul, Prue, Alison and Noel are learning sign language to help the contestant to feel more comfortable on set.

A source told The Express: “We’re working really hard to make the contestant feel included and the stars wanted to make an effort to learn sign language on the show by getting a teacher.

“They’re all having a go and making headway with basic communication skills.”

The Great British Bake Off 2023 tent

Usually, GBBO is filmed in Welford Park in Berkshire. Sadly you can't visit the tent, as it's only used for the filming of The Great British Bake Off. During COVID-19, the tent was moved to Down Hall Hotel in Bishop’s Stortford, Essex, so that the contestants could isolate together due to pandemic restrictions.
