In the wake of Thomas Markle giving a series of alarming and completely iffy interviews to the press (he recently compared the royal family to cult!), people are wondering how the Queen & co. are coping. And more specifically, how Kensington Palace's Press Powers That Be will deal with the ~situation~. Welp, turns out the answer is simple: They won't deal with it at all!
"Meghan doesn't think it's a fair game between her father and the media so she's not going to engage in it or instruct anyone on her behalf to set the record straight," a source tells The Sunday Times. "There have always been fears over his vulnerability. Now he's got himself into a cycle of talking publicly. It's very sad."
Meanwhile, the rest of the royals appear to have conflicting feelings on the Thomas Markle saga. A source says that Prince Charles "will be very feeling sympathetic towards Meghan" but that the Queen "will be rolling her eyes" over all this drama, which...damn. That's cold.
Is anyone else's heart low-key breaking for Meghan right now?
