I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here presenter Holly Willoughby has shared one "horrendous" moment that happened which didn't make it to air.

Holly, who hosted alongside Declan Donnelly for this series in Ant McPartlin's absence, isn't usually a fan of creepy crawlies, but speaking to Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes on Monday's This Morning (December 10) via video link, she revealed that she cried during one of the Bushtucker Trials.

"Horrendous," she said, describing her experience with being near all of the bugs. "I mean, it's been horrific.

"There was a bit – you know the coliseum and you had Fleur [East] and Sair [Khan], and they had the green ants? So this bit didn't make it to air, because I actually ran out.

"I was stood there, and one green ant bit me. And I burst into tears and I ran out of the coliseum. I was so embarrassed that I was crying.

"I was sort of laughing but sort of crying, and there were the red curtains and I opened the curtains and I went, 'Help me!'.

"And then I ran out and was so embarrassed, and it was at that moment that I was like, 'Right, you've got to pull yourself together now, because you can't be running out. You have to stay there and see it through to the end'."

This series of I'm a Celebrity was won by football manager Harry Redknapp, who edged out Emily Atack and John Barrowman in the final.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here: The Coming Out Show airs Wednesday (December 12) on ITV. This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
