A$AP Rocky is contemplating launching his own fashion label.
Over the course of his career, the rapper has delved into the world of style at different points, having collaborated with the likes of Raf Simons and Marine Serre on collections.
However, Rocky has now hinted he may be about to create a new brand.
"Right now, I'm not eager to do that...Maybe next year, but who knows?" he said during an interview with GQ magazine, before referring to the impact the Covid-19 pandemic is having on the industry. "I really wanted to put myself in a position where I made a collaborative brand as opposed to being a brand that puts out s**t just for the sake of accumulating capital. I'm all about making money! But I want to do it in the right, fly way."
Elsewhere in the conversation, Rocky opened up about how much he enjoys experimenting with fashion and high-end jewellery, going on to note that kilts have been one of his key wardrobe staples since 2011.
"The nails, the kilts, the pretty-boy swag, the pearls - I think it's just being comfortable. I just express myself with fashion, and what's fly is fly. I do it on some punk s**t," the 32-year-old mused, adding that he doesn't always rate the sartorial standards of his peers.
"Just 'cause s**t be costing a tag on it and all that, that s**t don't make it jiggy, bro. That s**t don't make that s**t fleek."
