‘If anything happens to my daughters, I’m coming to you...' The stars who are SUPER PROTECTIVE when it comes to their children dating

It feels like it was yesterday when they were born, but they are now all grown up and it's time to start dating! The children of the following celebrities have been part of the dating game and have introduced their boyfriends or girlfriends to mom and dad, and things have not always gone well!

The former First Lady of the United States appeared in a recent episode of the super popular show of Ellen DeGeneres, talking life with daughters Sasha and Malia. The young women recently left the nest after spending the past two years at home with mom and dad, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Michelle made it clear it was a “treat” to have them at home, but also revealed they are now “just amazing young women” who keep themselves busy… and have boyfriends! She said: “They loved the Jonas Brothers. Now they are bringing grown men home. They have boyfriends and real lives.”

In an interview with Kelly Clarkson, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay admitted to feeling “anxious” whenever daughter Megan is dating someone. When she told him she had gotten back with her ex, Ramsay decided to get the guy’s phone number to see “if anything’s wrong.” The ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ host then told Kelly that she asked him not to do anything. However, he recalled: “I waited to find out when they were having dinner together and I FaceTimed him. I said, ‘Byron, it’s me. Not your future father-in-law.” Megan ended up hanging up on her dad’s call, which Gordon found “so rude.”

‘The Brave’ star Sofia Pernas told Page Six only a couple of months ago, that her stepdaughter Isabella is SO in love with a guy. About him, Sofi said: "She has a beautiful, wonderful boyfriend. I don’t want to say too much about it because she’s like, ‘Ahh!’ but they’re awesome. ... She knows what she wants, and [my husband, Justin Hartley, has] lucked out. It’s rare when you get someone [who is almost] 18 being that precocious about what they want in a partner.”

‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Heather Dubrow told Us Weekly magazine that she and hubby Terry Dubrow are not exactly strict when it comes to their children’s personal lives. Together they have four children, twins Max and Nick, 18, Kat, 15, and Coco 11. On the young members of the family and their potential dates, Heather said: “With our kids, we’ve sort of taken the approach [of], ‘Look, we’ve given you all the tools. We trust you. And until you prove otherwise, we’re going to just continue to trust you.”

Father of FIFTEEN and TLC’s ‘Doubling Down With Derrico’ star Deon Derrico, revealed that there is a simple and brief rule he would like his teenager daughter Darian to follow. When it comes to dating, Deon told Us magazine, that it’s just a “don’t date” philosophy.

The actress known for the series sitcoms ‘Full House’ and ‘Fuller House’ told Us Weekly that the only thing she wants her children Natasha, Maksim and Lev to find in their significant others, is a special value to her. Our beloved Candace said: “I just want [their significant others] to love Jesus the way I love Jesus. Is that too much to ask for? Yeah. It’s not too much.” She then added that she could even set up her children: “If you know they’re from a good family and you know they might get along, we’ll do [that.] For sure.”

The youngers child of this fantastic celebrity couple, Iris Apatow, shared with E! News what her famous parents think about her new boyfriend Ryder. She said: "My whole family loves him.” Iris said that her mom, Leslie Mann, would even “chaperone a date with me and Ryder because I know she loves him". She also revealed that her sister, ‘Euphoria’ star Maude Apatow, is the first person to be like, ‘He’s the best.'”

Aw! Mark Wahlberg really approves his daughter Ella’s relationship! In fact, he dedicated some sweet words to her boyfriend.
