Anya Taylor-Joy has had a very busy year. The actress was nominated for a Golden Globe for Emma and for took home the prize for her performance in The Queen's Gambit. For the event, Taylor-Joy chose a custom emerald Dior gown that took three hundred hours to construct. Her swoon-worthy jewels were curtesy of Tiffany's, and included 1.5 million dollar earrings, and a necklace that had no less than 120 diamonds.

Also—surprise!—the red hair that we all fell in love with in The Queen's Gambit has been swapped for an icy blonde look that was expertly styled by Gregory Russell. The Globes are pretty much all virtual this year, but thankfully her stylist, Law Roach, posted some pics on the 'gram.

The entire look is complimented by her chess-inspired nails, which were done by nail artist Kim Truong. If you look closely, you'll notice the phrase "Chess Openings," on one nail, pawns on the other, checkerboard patterns, and, of course, the queen piece. It's a fitting gesture, because I think we can all agree that she looked like royalty on the virtual red carpet.
