'New York Post' reports that according to legal documents, Heche's son, Homer Heche Laffoon, is seeking to be in charge of his mother's estate. Heche was pronounced brain dead after crashing her car on Aug. 5 in Los Angeles. A report later confirmed that Heche had cocaine in her system which may have also contained fentanyl. She was taken off life support days later after her organs were matched with someone in need. After it was revealed that Heche had no will, Laffoon, 20, filed his request at the Los Angeles County Court.
