Ann Taylor previewed its new summer collection to press and buyers in New York yesterday.

The US fashion retailer’s latest range – which actress Kate Hudson will be the face of – featured the next season’s biggest trends.

Models were donned in head-to-toe coral, with one model wearing a coral dress with on-trend ruffle hem with a matching coral buckled belt.

Floppy hats were also adorned with a pretty coral rim, while classic peep-toe heels were printed in white and coral polka dots..

A coral cropped jacket was one of the key looks that caught our eye, which was teamed with floral trousers and loose white tees.

Strappy sandals were block coloured in vivid coral and bright white shades.

Another key trend from Ann Taylor’s summer collection was stripes, which was featured heavily on the Tommy Hilfiger SS13 catwalk.

Casual gingham shirt-dresses featured block white hems in nautical white and navy shades, teamed with patterned bags and scarves.

Ann Taylor’s Creative Director Lisa Alexson created stunning, paisley print mini-dresses which were clashed with striped cropped jackets and strappy heels.

Block colours were another key trend of the Ann Taylor Summer 2013 collection, with models donning clothes in bright, vivid shades.

An electric orange maxi skirt is one of our favourite pieces from the collection, which was teamed with a chambray denim t-shirt tied into a loose knot above the waist.

An emerald green midi skirt with ruffled hem – which was styled with simple striped accessories - also caught our eye.

After seeing this from Ann Taylor, we can't wait for Kate Hudson's capsule collection with the brand.
