Andie MacDowell looked incredible as she showcased her gorgeous grey hair on the L’Oreal catwalk at Paris Fashion Week.
The Four Weddings and a Funeral actress, who teamed up with other L’Oreal ambassadors including Eva Longoria and Gemma Chan, oozed confidence as she walked down the runway in a silver beaded and feather dress with a thigh-high leg split.
Andie, 64, has been vocal about changing her beauty routine after she stopped dying her hair because of covid quarantine rules.
In an interview with The Times, Andie explained that she feels much more comfortable embracing her natural grey hair, saying, “I truly want to be where I am and look my age.”
The mum-of-three also discussed her relief over the overwhelmingly positive response she has had since eschewing black locks for grey ones.
"I was relieved people weren’t cruel. They could have been mean to me. But everybody was very loving and kind and I was relieved because I really like it. I feel more comfortable," she said.
She continued, “People kept saying to me, 'It’s not time', but I disagreed. I was kowtowing to everybody else’s beliefs, but I truly want to be where I am and look my age. I just don't look at myself in a bad light and I don’t have very many mirrors around. The ones in my bathrooms all have great lighting!"
This is not the first time Andie has been praised for ageing gracefully. Back in May, the actress danced on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival with fellow beauty Helen Mirren, much to the delight of women everywhere.
Such a stunning look.
