American Horror Story fans have been doing a lot of patient waiting recently. Not just for series 10 of the hit show, but also for news of the series spin-off that was announced back in May 2020. Aptly named American Horror Stories the Ryan Murphy project is finally coming together with a concept and some brand new, very exciting casting announcements. Here's everything we know about American Horror Stories.

What's American Horror Stories going to be about?

Unsurprisingly the anthology series will follow a similar concept to the original American Horror Story, except instead of the plot playing out over each season each weekly released episode will feature a self contained horror story.

This is good news for AHS viewers, many of whom have said recently that they think the series have got too long, with the stories stretched over too many episodes.

As for the actual storylines, we're none the wiser at the moment but it's likely the episode titles will give us a better idea of the various plots.

Who has been cast in American Horror Stories?

The most exciting news about the show so far is the cast. Series creator Ryan Murphy recently announced four huge names joining the upcoming project. In a post on Instagram, which he captioned, "The Fantastic Four 馃挜馃挜馃挜馃挜" Murphy revealed Glee鈥榮 Kevin McHale, Pose鈥榮 Dyll贸n Burnside, Riverdale鈥榮 Charles Melton and The Prom鈥榮 Nico Greetham will be joining the cast of American Horror Stories.
