Scott Disick and Amelia Hamlin have officially been together for several months now, and rumoured to have been dating since November last year. Reportedly Scott's former girlfriend Sofia Richie wasn't happy when the news first broke and unfollowed family friend Amelia, her mum and her sisters on Instagram. But other than that we're still not entirely sure how all their celebrity friends and family feel about the relationship that seemed to come out of nowhere. Well, Amelia's mum just gave a pretty candid interview about the whole thing, saying of the relationship, "It is what it is". Yikes.
Lisa Rinna's interview with Andy Cohen for Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen got pretty awkward pretty quickly as soon as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was asked about her daughter's new boyfriend Scott Disick. When asked what her first reaction was when she found out about the relationship Lisa just laughed before saying, "Uh... yeah."
During the interview she revealed that she and friend Kris Jenner hadn't actually spoken to each other about the relationship, before adding, "I have met him now. I just met him, yes."
When she was asked what she thought of him Lisa replied, "Well, very similar to what you [Andy Cohen] thought when you met him; he's more handsome in person and he's very nice, we had a very nice time, he met Harry [Hamlin] and, there you go."
She then added, slightly awkwardly, "There it is. It is what it is guys, it is what it is." So, what on earth do we make of that?
This isn't the first time Lisa has addressed the relationship. When the pair were first pictured looking pretty cosy together on the beach last year reports emerged that parents Lisa and Harry didn't approve of their 19-year-old daughters relationship with 37-year-old Scott and hoped it was "just a phase".
Since then, it looked as though Lisa had come around, seeming to bond with Scott on Instagram over bucket hats (sure, okay), but this recent interview certainly makes it look as though that sartorial connection may not have been enough...
