Ambulance Overturns After Colliding With Bus in Westminster
An ambulance overturned after it was involved in collision with a bus in central London on Tuesday evening, January 31.
Video filmed by Kamal Sahal showed the immediate aftermath following the crash. The ambulance can be seen on its side with debris across the road. The front of the bus, including its windscreen, is seen heavily damaged in the footage.
Sahal told Storyful, “I was stopped at traffic lights in the oncoming lane. I didn’t see the crash. I heard a loud bang and saw everyone running to help. That’s when I knew it was something serious.”
A London Ambulance Service (LAS) spokesperson told media that the collision involved an ambulance responding to an emergency call.
The LAS said the ambulance crew involved were taken to hospital for further checks. There were no injuries on the bus as a result of the collision, the LAS said. Credit: Kamal Sahal via Storyful
