Watch: Everything you need to know about Amazon Prime Day 2020

Yahoo Lifestyle is committed to finding you the best products at the best prices. We may receive a share from purchases made via links on this page. Pricing and availability are subject to change.

Amazon Prime Day is fast approaching and will see huge deals across home, fashion, beauty and tech as well as outdoor buys reduced in price on 13 and 14 October.

Prime Day is one of the most highly anticipated shopping events of the year. It comes ahead of other major tentpole sale extravaganzas, such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday and then the Boxing Day sales.

Amazon’s Prime Day deals are – as the name suggests – only available to Prime members, but if you haven’t signed up, fear not, as other companies are jumping on the bandwagon and launching unmissable sales.

John Lewis & Partners has recently reduced prices on womenswear, while Clarks has launched a 50% off sale on shoes for men, women and children.

Anthropologie, as well as Boden, Arket, Made.com and The Outnet are also treating their shoppers to discounted products.

Admittedly, sifting through the e-stores to find the best deals can be time-consuming and overwhelming, which is where we come in.

We have curated a selection of alternative sales to Prime Day to keep your eye on this month.
