There have been numerous memorable fashion moments in 2019, from *that* spotty Zara dress to the ongoing presence of Kardashian-inspired cycling shorts, but there’s one viral item you may have missed.
Global fashion retailers, Lyst, recently analysed data from 104 million shoppers to uncover the most trending items of 2019.
Unsurprisingly, Zara’s £39.99 spotty dress was indeed the most talked-about item of the year, generating 1,392% rise in social mentions for Zara.
However, in second place was a very warm looking coat from Amazon (yes, really), which was first spotted on New York’s Upper East Siders back in February and quickly became a viral hit.
And let’s face it, if anyone knows anything about chic and warm outerwear, it’s New Yorkers.

The winter-ready coat is filled with white duck down, plus is water-resistant and windproof. The hood also has an extra soft lining and comes with numerous pockets, making it highly practical.

On Amazon the £149.99 coat boasts over 7,000 reviews, with a 63% five-star rating.
