Amanda Seyfried dons sheer pantsuit for star-studded night out - photos
Celebrities and fashion's best pulled out all the stops in New York City on 7 November for the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards, and Amanda Seyfried did not disappoint with her look.
She looked glamorous as ever for one of fashion's most celebratory nights, during which fashion mainstays as well as its rising stars were honored.
Held at the ever-exclusive Casa Cipriani in the Maritime Building next to The Battery, the event was hosted by actress Natasha Lyon, designer Gabriela Hearst, and Aurora James, designer behind Brother Vellies and founder of the 15 Percent Pledge.

For the glamorous night, Amanda opted for a stunning black pantsuit, which featured a one-shoulder cut, a waist-cinching belt, and sheer palazzo pants which let her showcase her never-ending legs.
The look was part of Michael Kors Collection's Spring Summer 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection, and the actress was styled by Elizabeth Stewart, whose client includes major A-listers such as Jessica Chastain, Cate Blanchett, Gal Gadot, Viola Davis, Julia Roberts, and more.
Amanda added an old Hollywood vibe to the modern look by having her hair styled in old-school curls with a deep side part, and she topped the look off with a bold red lip.

Fans raved about the look, taking to social media to write: "She looks fantastic," and: "Absolutely chic," as well as: "Love this and the jewelry," plus another fan added: "Love this! What a beautiful dress! Looks like an amazing night."

Amanda took to Instagram to share a photo of her look, posting a photo alongside the man behind her stunning dress, Michael Kors himself.
The look struck a balance between modern and old-glamor
Attendees of the event included Eva Chen, Julia Fox, Jaden Smith, Kendall Jenner, Hannah Bronfman, Vanessa Hudgens, Cher, Kim and Khloé Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, and more.
The night saw Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, be awarded with the first ever Stylist Award. Other winners included Lenny Kravitz for the Fashion Icon Award, Catherine Holstein of cult-favorite Khaite for the American Womenswear Award, plus an emotional Directors' Tribute to Off-White's Virgil Abloh, who passed away in November 2021.
