The Britain's Got Talent judge shared a photo of the present which was a walking frame, complete with yellow bow and a card on the handle which read: "Dear Amanda, I thought you might need this. Love Simon x."

Amanda - who celebrated her big day on Tuesday, 16th of February - uploaded the snap and captioned it: "Thank you to my hilarious friend @simoncowell for my wonderful gift!"

She added a crying laughing emoji and a red heart.

The star also shared a photo of herself naked on top of a three-tiered cake adorned with flowers with a cherry in her mouth, and added the message: "Bubbles are flowing... the cherry on top of a fabulous day."

In another picture, Amanda looked glam in a nude bodysuit embellished with sequins. She told fans she couldn't wait to "celebrate in a HUGE way" when lockdown restrictions ease.

"Half a century.. time flies," the actress reflected. "Thank you for all your kind & loving messages today.. my husband Chris and my gorgeous girls have spoiled me rotten and it’s still going. My friends have sent the most hilarious messages & presents and made this day extra special ..I can’t wait to celebrate in a HUGE way when we can.. I’m 50 all year and all year we’re gonna party. Hang on to your loved ones. It’s nearly over."

Followers and friends inundated the star with warm birthday wishes, with Tamzin Outhwaite commenting: "Yes my darling... we are both 50 all year so lets get the gang and party as soon as we can . Love you xxx."

Alan Carr wrote: "Happy Birthday darling - can’t wait to celebrate with you."

Happy Birthday, Amanda!
