Amanda Holden has been careful to keep the identities of her two daughters under wraps on social media, never posting pictures of their faces. Now, she's revealed why she's decided to start sharing selfies with them on Instagram.

The Britain's Got Talent judge is mum to 15-year-old Lexi and nine-year-old Hollie with her husband Chris Hughes.

She said Chris wanted to keep the girls out of the public eye, so they always shared photos of them with their faces concealed. But now the couple have had a change of heart.

"[It was] the minute he said, 'Lexi looks blinking gorgeous you have to post that'," she told parenting website This is Mothership.

And Amanda has been sharing her favourite family snaps with her 1.8m followers ever since.

"They’ve ended up all over my Instagram," she added. "For so long we did shots of them from the back and as they’ve grown up it’s a pride thing, you end up being so proud of them."

Amanda's recently joined Heart FM as a co-host on the breakfast show with old friend Jamie Theakston. And we've been living for her stylish early morning looks.

Here at Prima we are also big fans of Amanda's bedding range, which consists of sumptuous fabrics and aims to add a touch of glamour to your home. Amanda shared a pic on Instagram revealing her 'Confetti' duvet collection and it it looks gorgeous.

All of the presenter's bedding sets are machine-washable and two of the four designs are made from 100% cotton with a luxurious 180 thread count.

All sets are available to buy online at JD Williams.
