Captioning the images – which featured Big Ben and Piccadilly Circus in the background – she wrote: "Happy Platinum Jubilee.
Holden's red, white and blue dress comprised of a voluminous skirt and train that was covered in a design referencing elements of the UK flag.
Her post went down well with fans who left more than 32,000 'likes', with many of her famous friends leaving comments.
Katie Piper called the look "amazing" while Vanessa Feltz wrote "lovely" and Dame Kelly Holmes added "love".
The Britain's Got Talent judge – who recently wowed with her glittering gown for the first live show of the new series – also shared a video showing the photoshoot taking place around the capital.
It comes after another star, Geri Horner, was "mocked" over her intense message to the monarch, who is marking 70 years on the throne.
The former Spice Girl was one of the famous faces – including Julie Andrews and Michelle Obama – offered the opportunity to record a few words to be shown at last night's Platinum Party at the Palace.
