Amanda Holden in hot water with daughter over school blunder as she makes desperate plea
Amanda Holden has confessed she's landed herself in hot water with her teenage daughter Hollie, after a school calendar mix-up left her kid without her netball kit. The star shared her predicament on her Heart Breakfast radio show, revealing that she had mistakenly told her 12 year old there was no netball club after school as it wasn't listed on the timetable.
However, it turned out to be 'try it week', meaning the club was indeed running.
"I told my daughter Hollie that there was no netball club after school today because it's not on the school timetable. But it's try it week, so it is on," Amanda explained to her co-host JK. She added: "She's been doing netball forever. Anyway, do you know she literally just put the phone down on me in the car. I can't believe the attitude."

JK chimed in, sympathising with Amanda and expressing his own fears about his children growing up. "Do you know what I'm afraid of? For my son, it's coming. And my daughter it's definitely coming. You literally got the phone put down on you?"
In a bid to make amends, Amanda made a nationwide plea on air for any of her school mum friends listening to bring a spare kit for Hollie. "I literally got the phone put down on me. So if any of my school friend mums are listening, can you please take a spare kit in for Hollie because she won't forgive me. And Hollie stop ringing me, I'm on air!" reports the Mirror.
Her co-host JK then lightened the mood, adding: "Even though we're doing this show, life continues. I just got a reminder for Luna's PE kit."
To which Amanda responded: "Oh my God, the irony. I'm across everything else she's doing, I bet she's forgotten her violin today."
Amanda decided to skip the National Television Awards, citing the journey to the O2 Arena in Greenwich as a bit of a trek. The blonde bombshell, who's been a staple at the event in previous years, chose to sit this one out.
On her radio show, she shared that she had "a much nicer evening" at home rather than attending the ceremony. She explained her absence by pointing out the hassle of the commute: "It's a schlep, it's down at the O2, it's just so difficult to get to."
