Amal Clooney wears strapless, striped jumpsuit on date night with George
Amal Clooney is making a postpartum style comeback in a strapless black-and-white striped jumpsuit.
On Sunday night, new parents George and Amal Clooney, who welcomed twins Ella and Alexander on June 6, dined with Amal’s mother, Baria Alamuddin, at restaurant Il Gatto Nero (reportedly one of George’s favourites) in Lake Como, Italy.

According to Vogue, Amal accentuated the vertical-striped jumpsuit with a pair of shoulder-length chandelier earrings and a woven metallic clutch. She also wore her dark, glossy hair long and loose.
“George and Amal were in a great mood,” an eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight. “They greeted everyone and held hands as they left the restaurant. Amal looked radiant and in top form.”
The couple have been getting acclimated to parenthood at their Italian villa. In July, a source told People, “George and Amal are very hands on. The babies keep them very busy, but they both seem to love being parents. George and Amal are enjoying the summer with their babies. Both seem very happy.”
Last month, the pair was spotted on a candlelight dinner date at Villa d’Este Cernobbio, with Amal wearing a flirty, yellow minidress with nude, wedge heels. They also hit up Il Gatto on a separate occasion with friends.
Since the couple welcomed their twins in June, they’ve been pretty family-focused and naturally protective of their little ones. In July, after a French tabloid ran photos of the family of four, George threatened a lawsuit in a public statement that read: “Over the last week photographers from Voici magazine scaled our fence, climbed our tree and illegally took pictures of our infants inside our home. Make no mistake, the photographers, the agency and the magazine will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The safety of our children demands it.”
