Amal Clooney has revealed which of his films husband George won't let her watch, and the couple's explanation is pretty hilarious.

Appearing at the premiere of George's new movie The Tender Bar, Amal shared details on the film in question, and it's none other than George's superhero stint as Batman in the 1997 release Batman & Robin.

Speaking to Variety, George was asked why he's not set to star in upcoming film The Flash, which will see multiple versions of Batman come together, including those played by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton.

To explain his absence, George joked, 'When you destroy a franchise the way I did...' in reference to Batman, with Amal then confirming how much George dislikes his performance in the film.

'He won't let me watch it,' Amal revealed. George then agreed, saying, 'No. There are certain films I just go... I'm afraid I want my wife to have some respect for me.'

Amal continued, joking, 'It's on the banned list, but I think the kids are gonna want to watch it', with the couple sharing four-year-old twins Ella and Alexander.

Clearly not taking the whole thing too seriously, George laughed, adding, 'When your four-year-old kid goes "this sucks"... that would be really painful.'

Well, there you have it. Looks like Amal won't be seeing George in his Batman costume anytime soon.

George previously gave a rare emotional interview about Amal, saying: 'There is no question that having Amal in my life changed everything for me. It was the first time that everything that she did and everything about her was infinitely more important than anything about me.'
