Days after George Clooney revealed his newborn twins Ella and Alexander have very distinct personalities, the actor and his human rights lawyer wife have weighed in on whether there will be any plans to expand their brood in the years to come.

In an interview published on Wednesday in the Hollywood Reporter, the 56-year-old admitted he's become a 'very good diaper guy' and that he hopes his children grow up to be 'happy' and develop a 'sense of humour'.

During the interview, which took place at Amal and George's Lake Como home, the human rights lawyer was asked whether she'd like more children.

She shook her head and replied: 'I'm 39. I already had them quite late.'

The Oscar-winner admitted that he's now considering where to send his two children to school- whether it be in Studio City, England, or both.

As a result, he's called on the help of binational friends John Krasinski and Emily Blunt on their advice when it comes to juggling dual citizenship children.

Discussing how it feels to be a father, Oscar-winner and husband, Clooney admitted he counts his luck stars every day.

'Every single day of my life, I just feel lucky,' he said.

'Lucky in my career. Lucky enough to have found the perfect partner. Sometimes in life it doesn't happen on your schedule, but you find the person that you were always supposed to be with. That's how I feel, and I know that's how Amal feels,' he added.
