Will there be another series of Am I Being Unreasonable?

While the BBC has yet to reveal whether the show has been commissioned for a second season, co-writer Seline Hizli, who stars as Jen in the series, told The Independent that she would love to make a second season.

Fans will probably have to wait a little while longer before any announcements about a potential series two are made.

If Daisy and Seline do decide to team up again for more episodes, what could they cover?

[Spoiler alert!] Season one's shocking ending was quite the set-up for a second series as it revealed Nic to be responsible for Alex's death.

In the build-up towards the final episode, flashbacks showing Nic's affair with her brother-in-law, Alex, suggested that their seemingly loving relationship might not have been as perfect as she painted it out to be and that Nic may have misremembered the truth.

In the final scene, viewers watched as Nic confronted Dan at a train station. Having boarded the train, she stood opposite Alex on the platform as he revealed that he had only ever initiated their affair out of hatred for his brother.

Heartbroken and angry, Nic pulled his coat into the closing train doors, trapping Alex, who was then struck by an oncoming train.

With both Nic's husband, Dan, and Alex's widow, Suzie, asking questions about why she was at the train station on the day of his death, season two could see Nic continue to run from the truth and perhaps even confide in Jen.

There's also the small matter of Mr Meowgi's death to be addressed. In a dark twist, Nic's seemingly sweet son, Ollie, was revealed as the family pet's murderer. Footage from Ollie's camera showed the eight-year-old purposefully placing the cat in the drier and turning it on, sealing his fate.

By the end of the series, Nic is yet to confront her son about the incident, leaving audiences wondering whether Ollie has murderous tendencies.
