Strictly Come Dancing's Aljaz Skorjanec has posted a sweet message on Instagram dedicated to his pro-dancer wife Janette Manrara after she confirmed her exciting new Strictly role.

Janette will be swapping the dance-floor for the comfort of the sofa as she takes over from Zoe Ball as a co-host of Strictly's sister show It Takes Two with Rylan Clark Neal. She announced the news while appearing on The One Show earlier this week. Zoe steps down after 10 years, while Janette has been a pro-dancer on the hit BBC One show for 13 years.

Janette recently revealed that she had dreamed of the position since appearing on It Takes Two back in 2013.

"I remember meeting Zoe eight years ago when I did the first It Takes Two sat down and thinking 'This is the coolest job ever, you get to sit down, talk about dancing, make people feel good and celebrate their successes on the show' and I did think one day 'I want to sit down and do that,'" she said.

Aljaz Skorjanec will be returning as a pro-dancer on this year's series, which will return to BBC One in the Autumn.
