Alicia Keys, 43, says her smoothing, plumping face cream offers an 'innate glow'

If you're thinking about breaking up with your current moisturizer, consider this anti-aging pick from the singer-songwriter's skin care line.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - AUGUST 08: Alicia Keys attends the Los Angeles premiere of Amazon MGM Studios'
Alicia Keys' gorgeous glow is undeniable.

When it comes to well-known women who do it all, Alicia Keys tops the list. Not only is she an award-winning singer, songwriter and musician, but she's also a philanthropist and designer with her own fashion partnership with Athleta. But the list doesn't stop there. Keys also has her own beauty line, Keys Soulcare, which is available at Amazon. And yes, she actually uses the products herself!

In the Instagram video above, Keys gives us a glimpse into her beauty routine ahead of the Tony Awards earlier. It includes a generous slathering of her very own Keys Soulcare Firm Belief Smoothing Peptide Cream. As she applies the moisturizer all over her face, Keys says the product is "so good," adding that it gives skin the hydration it needs.

Not only does this vegan, cruelty-free formula work to minimize fine lines, it's designed to firm and plump skin for a more youthful complexion.

Keys launched Keys Soulcare back in 2020 and it's a true reflection of her own skincare journey. In one of the brand's informational videos, Keys shares that she didn't always have "beautiful skin" and that part of her transformation came when she began taking care of both her skin and her soul. With that in mind, many of the products in the Keys Soulcare collection are infused with dynamic ingredients — like Rose of Jericho, Marula oil and Manuka honey, emphasizing the harmony between self-care and skin care.

In addition to peptide complexes that work to improve the appearance of wrinkles, the Firm Belief Smoothing cream contains snow mushroom and astragalus extract which both have anti-aging benefits. The formulas have affirmations printed on them that people are encouraged to recite aloud when using them.

If you're looking for a new moisturizer that nourishes your skin both day and night, this Keys-approved pick is a strong contender. She mentions in the video that the cream can be used "in the morning or night," and it can help unlock your "innate glow."

Amazon shoppers seem to agree. One person called it "Luxury in a jar," adding, "I feel like I'm pampering myself when I apply it. [It's] very emollient. It takes a bit to really absorb and the results I get are worth letting it take its time. I wake up with soft and very hydrated skin."

Another commented, "This peptide cream is thick and wonderful. I have been using it with a vibrating face wand. I am truly seeing results quickly with fine lines around my eyes and less deepening of my cheeks. [It is] lovely and dries smooth and clear. I can wear it morning, day or night."

While some shoppers were able to wear this cream all day without any issue, others found it to be a bit much. "This skin cream is thick and rich. It’s the kind of cream you only want to apply to the cleanest of skin and in the thinnest of manners; it otherwise has a tendency to rub off like glue. It is definitely a night cream as it is too heavy to wear during the day," one person shared.

Worried about trying a new product that might cause irritation? One shopper with delicate skin wrote, "This cream is very moisturizing. I appreciate that it did not break me out... My skin, which is sensitive, did not turn red after using this."
