ITV's This Morning has faced criticism from viewers for an outside broadcast that saw presenter Alice Beer reporting from the queue of mourners waiting to pay tribute to the Queen as she lies in state.
- I've never sort of had this experience before, but I'm going to try and enjoy the moment. But I'm sure there's going to be a lot of sorrow there too.
ALICE BEER: But there will. There will. And as I say, mixture of sorrow and joy. Can I bring you a little joy? Because--
ALICE BEER: I've got, not just ordinary donuts, they look like they're Biscoff donuts.
- Oh, wow.
ALICE BEER: Don't tell me they're not your very favorite. They are--
- Oh, they're my favorite.
ALICE BEER: Nut-free, allergen-free. So go on, dig in there.
- Oh, thank you very much.
- Thank you very much.
ALICE BEER: I'm about to become the most popular person in the queue, I suspect. Donuts, anybody?
Oh yes, here we go. Come on, along here.
- Thank you.
ALICE BEER: We can pay our respects and eat donuts.
