Alex Jones wears lace midi dress for Chelsea Flower Show

Alex Jones wore a beautiful blue frock to the Chelsea Flower Show press day on Monday (22 May), and looked radiant.

For the first day of the yearly event, Alex made an appearance wearing a pale blue midi tea dress, complete with cap sleeves, plenty of floral lace detailing, and a sweet bow neck tie.

Alex paired her dress with white court heels, soft curls and a light pink lip, for a look that is just perfect for spring.

Joanna Lumley was also in attendance for today's press day, and wore a gorgeous trouser suit, looking incredibly chic.

Keeley Hawes, Imelda Staunton, Alan Titchmarsh and Dame Judi Dench also made appearances today, enjoying the sunshine and first day of festivities.

The Chelsea Flower Show is a yearly floral extravaganza that will run during its traditional Springtime slot between 23 and 27 May 2023, with entrance during the first two days reserved to RHS members. Attendees like to dress to impress for the event, wearing everything from fashionable trouser suits to unique fascinators.

Although the main event takes place at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London, the entire city becomes electric with energy and shares delightful displays of blooms in celebration of the event.

There are 36 gardens at this year's show, and each and every one of them is spectacular.

According to a the RHS, the show "will once again shine a spotlight on the ways that gardening and gardens can contribute positively to our health and wellbeing, as well as to help the environment."

A prestigious event, many celebrities frequent the Chelsea Flower Show, taking in all that British gardening has to offer. Over the years, the late Queen Elizabeth II had been known to visit the event.
