In a caption alongside the image the star wrote, “Trying to make the most of our time before little Ted starts school and Charlie goes back to work, so we took a trip to the coast.”

On the post, the One Show presenter said that during their holiday, “the weather was stunning and it was so nice to see the sea and feel sand between our toes.”

Alex recently revealed on air that she and husband Charlie have decided to name their newest arrival Annie, and added that, “little Annie loved the fresh air,” on her first beachside break.

The star is currently on maternity leave from her regular seat on the BBC One sofa and two weeks ago she revealed that her daughter had been born.

The first girl for the couple, Alex also revealed her baby’s gender when presenting The One Show while she was still pregnant.

Alex and Charlie have two older sons, Teddy and Kit, who are now big brothers to little Annie. When announcing the birth, Alex wrote in an Instagram post that the whole family were “completely besotted” by Annie, “especially Teddy and Kit.”
