The One Show’s Alex Jones enjoyed a family day out with her children this week in London and uploaded an array of sweet photos on Instagram showcasing what they got up to.

The 44-year-old could be seen looking cheerful in Gunnersbury Park while cradling her baby girl, Annie. Her second child, Kit, could also be seen enjoying the autumn leaves and running around in a rather bright pair of yellow wellington boots. Captioning the photographs, the 41-year-old wrote: "What a belter of a day. My absolute favourite time of year 🤎🧡."

Fans were quick to comment on the shots. One wrote: “Beautiful autumn colours and the lovely sunshine. A great combination. 👍😍🍁🍂”, while another said: “🙌Perfect .. sunny and dry .. enjoy with your lovely family” and a third reminiscent about her own time in Gunnersbury Park commenting: “I used to be taken to Gunnersbury Park when I was little [-] loved it 🥰 I’m 71 now 🙄😘😘”.

Alex gave birth to baby Annie on 24 August 2021 and has been enjoying her maternity leave. However, she did return to The One Show sofa for a couple of nights last month. Captioning a shot of herself with her children, she wrote: “The juggle. Nice to be @bbctheoneshow for a couple of nights but it’s back to the day job for now, looking after these little ones.”

Alex is married to insurance broker Charlie Thomson and together the couple have three children - Teddy, born in 2017, Kit, born in 2019, and their latest edition, Annie.

Initially surprised at her third pregnancy, Alex announced it on The One Show back in March 2021, and said: "It just seems like a good time to share some news with everybody, and the crew in the studio for the first time.”

"Lockdown's been anything but predictable and we've had some really unexpected news – baby number three is on the way!"
