Aldi's New Ice Cream Tubs Are Giving Us Budget Cadbury Vibes And We're Not Complaining

It's no secret that budget retailer, Aldi, love to push the boat out. And by push the boat out, we mean reimagine some of our favourite foodie items. We've seen versions of McDonald's Chicken Selects make an appearance in stores, adaptations of Little Moons' Mochi Ice Cream, and even Baileys dupes. But you didn't think they were going to stop there now, did you?

Inspired by a certain well-loved chocolate brand *cough* Cadbury *cough*, Aldi is launching three glorious tubs of ice cream promising to be 30% cheaper than their more luxe counterparts (now, that's a number we can get behind).

We're talking Dairyfine Milk Chocolate, Crumbly Cone and Cookies n Cream flavours, each made with a base of velvety vanilla ice cream, topped with either delicious chunks of milk chocolate, crumbly chocolate or chocolate and biscuit. Yes, please!

Set to land in stores from the 19 September, a tub will set you back just £2.29 and we can't think of a better way to spend our Saturday night in.

In the market for more ice cream-related news? KFC has just welcomed two new ice cream sundaes to the menu: Milkybar and Aero.

Each sundae comes featuring KFC's smooth, soft serve ice cream finished with the chocolate treat of your choice (dessert sauce and choc chips included), and it costs just £1.49 a cup.

Spotted online via several food news profiles, the response to the new frozen treats has been positive with fans commenting everything from "These are amazing!" to "I need this ASAP," and "My dreams have come true."
