Aldi's clever and compact bed in a box ottoman is proving popular amongst online buyers - and could be close to selling out, Aldi has said.

The bed in the box provides convenient storage - which is particularly welcome for those of us who have limited space in our homes but love to have guests staying over. And as we continue - so far, successfully - on our roadmap out of lockdown, we'll all be wanting to have our friends and family over to celebrate more and more.

The Kirkston bed in a box is priced at £299, and is only available to buy online.

Aldi describes their product: "Never compromise on style or space again when it comes to a spare bed with this Kirkton House Bed In A Box. This stunning fold out bed is perfect for when you need an extra bed for guests, and folds away into a stylish seating solution! Top with fluffy pillows for that modern look."

Aldi adds that the box comes in a compact design, saves space, is easy to assemble and fits conveniently into smaller spaces. The plain hinged top hides a mattress measuring 186 x 120 x 6cm, made of plywood, pinewood, iron frame, and foam. The bed in a box comes in a signature grey colour, and its quilted top is stylish and sophisticated - working for decorative purposes in your home.

Meanwhile, Aldi's Gardenline Patio Heater recently sent customers into a frenzy, and we can't blame them. Perfect for outdoor gatherings, and great for setting the scene, the sell-out specialbuy from Aldi is a must-have. Launched in-store last month, Aldi's Patio Heater will set you back just £39.99.

Let the spring/summer socialising commence!
