Happy Valentine’s Day to you all! Whether you’re in a couple, or celebrating Valentine’s Day/Galentine’s Day with your best pals (virtually), Prosecco and Champagne is the way to do it.

And we think Aldi’s your best bet for great value bubbly this year.

Aldi has some incredible offers on, including its Costellore Prosecco Frizzante – on sale now – for the crazy price for £3.99!

This semi-sparkling wine is described as having “the same soft and fruity peach, pear and lemon zest flavours that you'd expect from our normal Prosecco – just in a gentler Frizzante style. Designed with a label that’s sure to catch someone’s eye, why not gift this to the special someone in your life?”

If Champagne is more your thing, darling, fill your glass with Aldi’s Nicolas De Montbart Champagne, which is an easy drinking aperitif-style Champagne. A bottle will set you back just £9.95. It’s available in store and online now.

Aldi says it’s, “a drink which took the market by storm in 2020. The UK’s first supermarket Rosé Prosecco is an excellently balanced, aromatic wine made from Italian Glera and Pinot Noir grapes, with fine, long-lasting bubbles. On the nose enjoy floral aromas, whilst the palate offers a mix of summer fruits with a hint of strawberry and peach.”

Aldi’s Veuve Monsigny Rosé Champagne (£16.99) is also a great way to celebrate. It’s available to buy online now.

Produced in collaboration with Champagne house Philizot & Fils, this award-winning seductive rosé shows crisp red berry fruit flavours and a delicate French Patisserie character. And careful cellar ageing has enhanced its complexity, elegance and length.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said: “With Valentine’s approaching, we’re excited to be able to offer our customers the best value and quality fizz to enjoy with a loved one. We have reduced some of our best-selling sparkling, ready to enjoy or gift this Valentine’s Day.”

Cheers!
